Power Scholars is an elementary-age summer program that involves interactive and highly engaging academic instruction in the areas of literacy and mathematics. Students increase academic success and self-confidence in this six-week program at the Y.

We are excited to share with you the selection of our new Lakewood Family YMCA Executive Director: Toby Roberts. Toby has served the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties for 10 years. He has served in marketing and communications, operations, and philanthropy. Toby brings a diverse background of experience and a foundation of strong relationships.

The Russell Family have been longtime members at the Morgan Family YMCA. Cathy Russell graciously shares their Pride story with YMCA staff, members, and the community at large.   ---------- 

The Best Summer Ever! This has been a theme in the past for the Y’s summer day camp and overnight camp. I have always loved this statement. It takes me back to when I was a kid; it seemed that every summer was the best ever. Outdoor play, warm weather, water fights, laughter, and friendships ... each summer seemed to outdo the last.
