Each year, our neighbors in the community and members of the Y participate in our health and wellness programs and initiatives that are designed for kids, adults, and seniors. Our offerings include evidence-based programming to help those managing a health condition to spiritual and emotional support to offer a place of connection, hope, and a way forward in the most challenging aspects of life.

Weight Loss Program
The YMCA Weight Loss Program’s approach is to empower, encourage, and provide tools so that participants design their own plans to support their weight loss goals within the context of their lives.
YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program: Prevent T2
The Prevent T2 program is an evidence-based, year-long program designed specifically for people who are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. This supportive, group-based program explores options for healthier eating and how to be more physically active.
ACT!
ACT! is an evidence-based youth and family obesity prevention program for families with children ages 8-14 that engages the entire family in sustainable healthy habit formation, including physical activity and nutrition.
Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring
This evidence-based, self-monitoring program helps participants living with hypertension better manage their blood pressure.
Enhance®Fitness
Enhance®Fitness is an evidence-based program designed to assist adults who are at risk of falling and/or managing arthritis to improve their strength, balance, and flexibility through group exercise and regular progress tracking.
Empowering Pregnancy and Motherhood
Helps pregnant and recently postpartum women have healthy babies through education about physical activity and nutrition.
Program is a collaboration with MultiCare’s Center for Health Equity and Wellness.
LIVESTRONG
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a 12-week program for cancer patients and survivors focused on regaining their strength and health.

Pedaling for Parkinson’s
Research conducted at the Cleveland Clinic showed pedaling a bicycle at a consistent RPM over a period time can reduce Parkinson’s disease symptoms by as much as 35%.
Groups meet on an ongoing basis for 60-minute sessions.
