Break's on, Brakes off
Our break week camps offer a fun and safe space filled with laughter and exciting camp games. We choose our camp dates based on the school district the Y is located in; parents also enjoy peace of mind knowing their child is engaged in activities while school is out. Each day of camp is packed with lasting friendships, moments to be creative, and memories to last a lifetime.

Campers needing special accommodations should consult with the Camp Director prior to registration and provide information on the the Camper Enrollment Form. The YMCA is not able to provide one-on-one care for campers but will work with families to provide reasonable accommodations to ensure a child's success in camp. A follow-up with the camp staff is requested to ensure that accommodations are able to be met.
All Y Camp staff are screened nationally and provided with a week of training that encompasses working with children, all aspects of camp programming, and preparing staff to be successful in a work environment. The Y also provides training in child abuse, and many staff are CPR and first aid certified. YMCA staff and volunteers are mandated child abuse reporters and are required to report any suspected child abuse to the proper authorities. Employees trained in first aid emergency response are always on site. Camp staff are not permitted to babysit, transport in personal vehicles, or have contact with campers outside of the YMCA. Providing a fun and safe experience for the campers is the main priority for the YMCA.
Staff-to-camper ratios are as follows:
Ages 3-4: 1 to 7
Ages 5-6: 1 to 8
Ages 7-8: 1 to 10
Ages 9-12: 1 to 12
The Camper Enrollment Form is required for all campers and must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp identifying adults authorized to pick up and drop off your child.
Staff will verify identification with a valid photo ID of the person picking up the child. Campers may not leave camp with unauthorized adults. All adults picking up your child must be on the authorized list and bring a photo ID.
For emergencies and last minute pick ups, the primary account holder needs to resubmit the camper enrollment form or provide written authorization to the camp director.
Refunds must be requested in writing. Full refunds are permitted up to the Tuesday prior to the Full Payment Due Date. If a child misses camp due to voluntary withdrawal or homesickness, refunds are not permitted. A written note from a medical provider is required to be considered for a refund due to illness or injury.
