From February 1-18, our organization is focused on member acquisition through referrals. This activity is member-driven and we are driving awareness of this effort and supporting the referral process through several means.
To help everyone stay on the same page when it comes to details about the offer, how to refer a new member, and answer questions from community members we've created the below assets for reference and ongoing use. Terms and Conditions
- For each new household that joins, the referring member will receive one free month of household membership.
- No limit to number of household referral benefit.
- Referral information must be provided at time of join.
- Referral benefit does not apply to any current or active household memberships. Upgrades do not apply.
- Value is not transferrable. No cash value.
- Credit from the join will be applied to the next membership dues draft.
- YMCAPKC staff who have active membership draft are eligible for promotion benefit.

IN COMMUNITY CENTERS
All Find Your Y and YMCA360 materials will stay on display in Community Centers throughout February and are to be repositioned in center to complement one another alongside the February promotion.
From February 1-18, Community Centers are also to display 24"x36" Refer a Friend posters showcasing details of the promotion and instructions on how to refer a friend through the YMCAPKC app.
Printable 11"x17" posters and 8.5"x11" flyers to support the promotion may be found in LucidPress under Membership and Operations / Promotions, you may also locate them by searching for "Refer a Friend", or by viewing the templates by most recent first. Please note that the content within the flyers is to remain as is, and there is space to add in contact information as needed.
SHOUT-OUTS
Did your community center hit a major milestone? Do you have a dedicated teammate who signed up a record number of members or put in the time to go above and beyond for another new member? We want to know. Submit your shout-outs and we'll include them in our updates. Be sure to include their name, community center, why they deserve a shout-out and your name.
