Free Scholarships For Lakewood Youth

 

Through a partnership with the City of Lakewood, the YMCA is pleased to offer free scholarships for eligible Lakewood youth to attend YMCA programs and activities.

The list of eligible programs and activities include:

  • Before and after school Child Care (offered at Custer, Idlewild, and Tillicum Elementary Schools)
  • Swimming Lessons (excludes private swimming and/or competitive swim teams)
  • Gymnastics (excludes competitive gymnastics or Grace Gymnastics)
  • Summer and Winter Day Camps
  • Youth Sports
  • Leaders in Training

To be eligible, youth must be between the ages of 5-18 years old and have a valid household address/residence within the city limits of Lakewood. All participants must have a parent/guardian register the youth participant for a membership.

All YMCA programs and activities offer youth a fun, positive, and constructive experience to local kids where they can learn new skills, develop their talents, and grow stronger and more confident.

 

 

Through our partnership with the City of Lakewood, our goal is to help local youth recover from the negative health, education, social-emotional, and mental health stresses/traumas caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
