Annual Giving
Scholarships at the Y help remove the financial barriers to accessing YMCA facilities, programs, and services. The scholarship provides individuals and families the opportunity to participate in the life-changing programs and services offered by the YMCA regardless of age, background, ethnicity, ability, or income.
Stock Transfer
Securities can be gifted to the Y by electronic transfer. It is necessary for you to contact your broker to initiate the transfer.
Mutual Funds
Electronic delivery of mutual fund shares is the most secure and expedient delivery process available and provides efficient internal control as well as cost savings. The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties has accounts open at many of the large fund companies, which is necessary to initiate the transfer.
Gift in Memory
A gift to the Y is a meaningful way to honor a relative or friend when they pass away or to celebrate their birthday or other milestone. The YMCA will send an acknowledgement to the person you designate.
CAR DONATION
Through our partnership with CARS, you can now donate your car to help support the many community enriching programs the YMCA has to offer!
We are able to take donation of cars, RVs, boats, motorcycles and even airplanes!
SUMMER OF SERVICE
Summer of Service provides participants an intense, hands on, cultural immersion at the Sioux YMCA in Dupree, South Dakota. By spending a week on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Reservation, our teens work directly with the community by planning and delivering a week of day camp for the youth in Dupree. This will be the 6th year that a handful of teens from our Y will participate in this unique and impactful cultural experience.

- Respect for cultural diversity and uniqueness of others
- Better comprehension of the world that we live in
As you might expect, our group gets as much out of the experience as do the kids in Dupree. Teens will have a cultural, historical and socio-economic experience that will give them a different and deeper appreciation of the YMCAs impact.
