Coming in October: Marina Square Express YMCA
We are excited to expand our commitment to Kitsap County by opening the new Marina Square Express YMCA in the heart of Bremerton this October. Thanks to our partnership with Sound West Group, the Y will have a gym in the Marina Square residential community located downtown on Washington Ave. The new express location will have sweeping waterfront and boardwalk views, be steps from the ferry, and be within walking distance of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and the new Quincy Jones Square. We are thrilled to continue investing in a thriving Bremerton and healthy community.
By introducing this new express location in the heart of downtown, we're not just opening a 2,067-square-foot facility; we're creating a space for you to improve your physical fitness and be part of the vibrant YMCA community. We want to be where you are, making it easier for you to meet your health goals and meet others who are focused on their health and wellness. Members joining the express location will also have access to nearby YMCA facilities like the Bremerton Family YMCA, which is a short 1.5-mile walk, bike, or drive from Marina Square and offers expanded programming and access to an Olympic sized pool.
Our brand-new location will be walkable to Marina Square community residents and those who work and live nearby. With the convenience of a central location, you can work out where you live on your own schedule. As an adult-only facility, it will boast modern strength training and cardio equipment and have outdoor spaces that will host seasonal group fitness classes. The Marina Square Express YMCA is an exciting and innovative way to serve our urban communities, and we can't wait for you to be a part of it.
