Join us for Fitness Fest, a week celebrating our classes and you, at the Lakewood Family YMCA! Each day will be something new. Here's what's in store:
Guest Passes
YMCA members are eligible to claim up to 5 guest passes during Fitness Fest. This is the perfect opportunity to share everything the Y has to offer, from energizing group workouts to expansive fitness facilities – all in a supportive and welcoming community.

Meal Prep Posse
Check out Meals of the Week, where YMCA Health Coaches dish out simple, delicious meal ideas to help you level up your meal prep game. Swing by for new recipes and fresh inspiration, and don’t forget to bring your own favorites to share with fellow members—we’re all about tasty meals and building healthy habits together!
Monday, May 12
All Day | Mother’s Day Monday
This event allows for members to bring their mom or a friend for a fun YMCA workout. We will have a table for members to appreciate the special people in their lives, whether that's their mom, dad, friend, etc.
5:15-6:15pm | Rise and Shine Bootcamp
Rise and shine with exercise before dawn! Start your day with a fantastic workout by attending this early morning bootcamp!
9:30-10:30am | Extended HIIT
Join Ginger for an extended 1-hour HIIT class, a high-intensity interval training class, featuring a sweat-inducing full-body workout with short rest periods intermittently.
12-1pm | Aqua HIIT
Using the resistance of the water, challenge yourself with high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that delivers both cardio and strength results. Aim to improve your personal best, then switch to active recovery without slowing to a standstill.
12-1pm | Silver Circuit Giveaway
"Class will be extended to an hour, and will receive a special Y Swag item for attending this class."
12-1:30pm | Sound Bath and Restorative Yoga
Enjoy a restorative yoga class that can reduce stress, alleviate depression, and help you feel more grounded and settled. This class also includes the peaceful sounds of a sound bath.
1-2pm | Aqua Stretch
Relax your mind and body. The support of the water helps with balance, allows for more range of motion, and a deeper stretch you may not be able to achieve on land.
4:30-5:15 | Bring a Friend Pilates
Bring a friend to Pilates and be entered into a drawing for a Y swag bag.
4:30-5:45pm | Extended Zumba
Join Beth for an extended 1-hour Zumba class, a mix of low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
6-7pm | Bring a Friend to Commit
Bring a friend to Commit Dance!
6:30-7:45pm | Extended Commit
Join Katie for an extended 75 minute Commit Class
Tuesday, May 13
8:30-9:15am | Cycle Sculpt
This 45-minute class starts with high-energy indoor cycling followed by strength training to build cardiovascular endurance and strength.
10:30-11:30am | Yin Yoga
Join Terry for Yin Yoga, a slow yoga style that incorporates long-held postures that target the deep connective tissues of the body.
10:30-11:30am | Extended Commit
Join Amy for an extended Commit Class
1-2pm | Balance Workshop with Wilson- Standing Strong
Improve your balance! Learn how to train your balance utilizing a wide variety of equipment, including chairs, BOSU balls, bands, and more.
5-5:30pm | Try Core!
This 30 minute class focuses on the entire core.
5-6pm | Intermediate Pickleball Workshop
Enjoy the fun of pickleball at this beginner workshop! Learn the fundamentals while having a great time.
6-7pm | Self Defense Workshop
Join Ginger to learn how to read your surroundings and have an appropriate reaction to situations or threats that make you uncomfortable. For ages 15+.
7-8pm | Evening Barre

9:30-10:30am | Lower Back Workshop with Airossti Chiropractic
Join Dr. Aaron Cheng for a lower back workshop.
8:30-9:15am | Black Light Cycling
An exciting, heart- pumping 45- minute cycle class under the black lights! We encourage participants to wear white or neon to enhance their glow, and we will provide fun glow-in-the-dark accessories.
11:45am-12:30pm | Foam Rolling Workshop
Learn how to foam roll your upper and lower body and target trigger points. Recover quicker from workouts and feel great!
12-1pm | Silver Circuit Giveaway

4:30-5:15 | Bring a Friend Pilates

Feel the flow of the music in the pool with this fun class offering a variety of dance moves that focus on the rhythm and beat of the music.

1-2pm | Vision Board Workshop
Vision boards act as visual representation of your goals and dreams - come create yours! We provide all materials. Participants are welcome to bring their magazines, pictures, or stickers that inspire them.

Join David for some line dancing fun! This class is great for all levels!
